Greenstein was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 1996, and the 14th Annual Heinz Award in Public Policy in 2008.About Presidency 2012: The Purposes of Government As part of its commitment to fostering in-depth and diverse policy discourse, the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy presents Presidency 2012, a yearlong lecture series that explores the role of government and the presidency. The Presidency 2012 lecture series provides an equal opportunity for all presidential candidates, campaign strategists, and influential policy practitioners to come to Chicago Harris and present their views on this theme as it pertains to prominent public policy issues.&nbsp;
