Chicago Harris Public Policy Lecture - Washington
Description

The relationship between the federal government and the American automobile industry has played a central role in this year’s presidential election campaign. Dr. James Sallee, assistant professor at Chicago Harris and faculty affiliate at the Energy Policy Institute at Chicago, will discuss the key issues driving the debate, including the auto industry bailout, energy independence and the new fuel economy standards, jobs, and even the cash-for-clunkers program. Please join us for a lively and interesting presentation and conversation.
