Jonathan Davis
Jonathan Davis received his BA in Mathematics, Economics and Statistics from the University of Chicago in 2009. He has spent the last three years working as an Associate Economist in the Economic Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
While at the Fed, Jon has worked as a coauthor and research assistant on a variety of projects, ranging from an analysis of the effect of a large philanthropic school construction program in the 1920s on academic and economic outcomes of southern rural Blacks to an examination of how the aging of the baby boomers will affect the labor force participation rate. Moving forward, Jon is interested in studying the relationship between educational and criminal policy and urban poverty.
For fun, Jon enjoys running, walking around Hyde Park, and drinking coffee. He has run 7 marathons with a personal best of 3:07:27.
