Senior Fellow and Director of Chicago Human Services Research, Mathematica Policy Research; Senior Lecturer
Matthew W. Stagner is a Senior Fellow and Director Chicago Human Services Research at Mathematica Policy Research and a Senior Lecturer at the Harris School. He recently completed six years as the executive director of Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Stagner directed the Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population at the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C. He also served as director of the Division of Children and Youth Policy, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
