Joseph Antoun, MD, MPP, MS

Co-director, Center for Health Policy

Dr. Joseph Antoun is the CEO of Health System Reform S.A.L., a boutique consultancy aimed at improving Public Health through Health Policy; an Adjunct Professor of Health and Pharmaceutical policy at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging; and a visiting fellow at the Department of Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. At the University of Chicago, Professor Antoun is the co-director of the Center for Health Policy and teaches comparative health systems, leadership and negotiations in healthcare.

Dr. Antoun has a Masters’ in Public Policy from Harvard University and has studied Health System Financing and Management at Johns Hopkins University. He obtained his Doctorate in Medicine and Masters’ in Medical and Biological Sciences from Saint Joseph University. His recent work, teaching and publications focused on Health Systems and Systems Reform, on Leadership and New Public Management in healthcare and on increasing Access to Medicines.
