Adam Hitchcock
Adam Hitchcock is a managing director at Guggenheim Partners.
Before joining Guggenheim, he served as the Chief of Staff of the White House Council of Economic Advisers. In this role, he managed the staff of the Council and was the principal adviser to the Council’s chairman, Austan Goolsbee, on policy, communications and management issues. Prior to that, Adam served as a Special Assistant in the White House Office of the Chief of Staff, where he provided counsel and support to President Obama’s Senior Advisors.
Before joining the Obama Administration, Adam was a special assistant on the Obama-Biden White House Transition Project and the Obama 2008 presidential campaign. Prior to that he worked for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley.
Adam is a Fellow with the Truman National Security Project. He is also active with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Adam is on the board of Urban Initiatives, a nonprofit organization that runs health, education, and character development programming for kids in the Chicago Public Schools.
He holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law and a BA with honors from Indiana University.
