DIC 2006 | Paris

The 4th meeting of the Dean’s International Council was held October 18-20, 2006, in Paris, France. The opening reception was held at the headquarters of Publicis Groupe—the world’s fourth largest communications group—and included a keynote address from Provestis President Daniel Bernard.  

Subsequent gatherings were held at the University of Chicago Center in Paris.  Keynote speakers included, Craig Roberts Stapleton, Ambassador of the United States to France; John Vinocur, International Herald columnist; and former Armenian Prime Minister Armen Sarkissian. Panel discussions included “International Migration: Immigration and Integration,” “Labor Laws and Social Welfare,” and “Issues Facing the European Union.
