Advanced Topics in Political Economy

This course will examine some recent advances in the applied game theoretic literature on political economy. Topics covered will likely include legislative and electoral institutions, democratization and nation building, legislative bargaining, information aggregation, and so on. The course assumes that students have a familiarity with core concepts in game theory, equivalent to that introduced in PPHA 41101.
