CEDEC hosted an international conference to be held at the University of Chicago. This conference will brought together leading researchers, key members of international organizations and influential policymakers in developing countries to discuss state-of-the-art research on early childhood development and early childhood interventions. The CEDEC hosts critical, multidisciplinary discussions of groundbreaking research on childhood development. These weekly discussions are led by experts from the University and invited external speakers. CEDEC gives particular attention to assessing the weaknesses and strengths of the current literature, and also to how research findings can be translated into deliverable implications for policy interventions.
