Graduate Student Computer Lab
The Harris School's graduate student computer lab contains twenty-four 64-bit Windows 7 machines, running the most common applications used by students in their research and core classes. Printing and scanning (in both black & white and color) are also available. The student lab is available 24 hours a day.
Student Accounts
Every Harris School student is given an account on the HARRISSCHOOL domain servers, which they can use to login to the machines in the student lab, as well as access student content on the Harris School website. Students are provided with dedicated storage space on the Harris School servers in a secure location to store their files, which can be accessed via the web from any remote location.
Software
Student lab machines are equipped with the typical software packages utilized by students for their class assignments and research projects. These include statistical applications (Stata, SPSS, R) and geographic/location-based analytical tools (ArcGIS, Google Earth), as well as standard desktop applications (Microsoft Office, Open Office, Adobe Reader, mutimedia utilites, etc...)
