Robert H. Malott
Robert Malott is the Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FMC Corporation in Chicago. Mr. Malott joined FMC in 1952, having served the two previous years as Assistant to the Dean at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He has held a number of staff management positions at FMC. In 1970, he was elected to FMC's Board of Directors and was elected President and CEO in 1972. In April of 1973, he was elected Chairman of the Board. He relinquished the title of President in 1977. He was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee in 1991, relinquishing the title of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. He relinquished the title of Chairman of the Executive Committee in 1997. Mr. Malott is a Director of Sovereign Specialty Chemical, Inc.
Mr. Malott received an A.B. degree from Kansas University in 1948, an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1950, and attended New York University Law School from 1953 to 1955.
