Jonathan Dedmon
Jonathan Dedmon is a Principal of The Dilenschneider Group with more than 30 years of experience in media and agency public relations, including 15 years with The Dilenschneider Group in Chicago. He is a former vice president with Hill and Knowlton public relations and served 10 years as a journalist.
Mr. Dedmon worked in Washington, D.C. for five years, writing for the Newhouse newspapers and States News Service. While in Washington, he wrote extensively about Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court, legal, energy, and political issues. Prior to covering the nation's capital, Mr. Dedmon was a reporter for both the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post, where he covered a variety of assignments. They ranged from the state legislature, courts and local government to skiing and backpacking.
Mr. Dedmon received a B.A. in English Literature from Stanford University, where he was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He also holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
