Joan W. Harris

Professional Bio: 

Joan W. Harris is Chairman of The Irving Harris Foundation. She has served as President, Director and Trustee of fourteen different Chicago, statewide and national cultural organizations. Mrs. Harris served on the President's Commission for the National Endowment for the Arts. She was Commissioner of the Department of Cultural Affairs for the City of Chicago and served as President of the Chicago Opera Theater and the Illinois Arts Alliance.
