James N. Perry, Jr. is a Managing Director of Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC. Prior to co-founding Madison Dearborn Partners, Mr. Perry was with First Chicago Venture Capital for eight years. Previously, he was with The First National Bank of Chicago. Mr. Perry concentrates on investments in the communications industry.

Mr. Perry earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
