Tony Ghorayeb (Co-chair)
Tony Ghorayeb is Chairman and co-founder of Libank, a newly established investment bank in Lebanon. He is also a founding member and Secretary General of the Levant Business Union.
He previously held senior positions at HSBC, Credit Commercial de France, Banque Indosuez, and BSI.
For over 35 years, Mr. Ghorayeb has practiced banking and legal consultancy in London, Geneva, and New York. He lectured in constitutional law and administrative law at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, at the Law School (1975-1981). He has published an essay on the Lebanese electoral system and a thesis on double taxation. He also directed seminars on public finance for two years at Saint Joseph University between 1979 and 1981.
Mr. Ghorayeb has a law degree from Saint Joseph University, as well as a political science degree. He has a PhD in Law from Lon II University in France in addition to a master's degree in political science.
