Khalid Janahi
Professional Bio:
Khalid has more than 30 years experience in advisory services and international Banking focused on Islamic finance. He is currently the Group Chief Executive of Dar Al-Maal Al Islami (DMI) and sits on the board of the Trust’s subsidiaries and associates. Before joining DMI in 1998 he was a Partner at Price Waterhouse where he had spent 18 years in their UK and Middle East offices
Educational Bio:
Khalid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Accountancy from the University of Manchester, UK. He is also a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

- Vice Chairman of Arab Business Council of World Economic Forum(2003-2008)
- Co-Chair of WEF’s Global Agenda Council on the Middle East (2009-2012)
- Member of the Board up to 2011 of Centre for International Business and Management (CIBAM) at the University of Cambridge
- Co-Chair of World Economic Forum for the Middle East in 2008.
- Member of the Academic Accreditation Committee in Bahrain (1990-1996)
- Member of the Board of Accounting and Auditing Standard for Islamic Financial institutions (1990 -1995)
- Member of the Committee of Public Accounting Standard setting Body inBahrain(up to1998)
- Member of the Al Ahliah University in Bahrain.

Personal Bio:
Khalid is married to Seema and they have two sons.
He speaks Arabic, English and Persian. He currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland.
